This morning, I went to an energetic healer who gave me a spiritual kick in the ass by simply releasing negative words from my emotional vocabulary, ones that have sat in my psyche for too long, words that are probably sitting in your psyche right now as well.
Words like shame, guilt, unworthiness, fear, distrust, self-flagellation. Words that evoked feelings of not being enough.
I can’t send you all an energy healer to release your negative feelings, but I can gift you this list of words I left the healing with, words meant to rush in and replace the negative ones I was fixating on.
Here they are:
- helpfullness
- creativity
- faith
- self-preservation
- harmony
- grace
- confidence
- giving freedom
- gentleness
- sympathy
- comfort
- wholeness
- determination
- freedom
- hope
- zeal
- happiness
- gratitude
- joy
- worthiness
- truthfullness
- trust
- abundance
- gratitude
- consideration
- desire
- vitality
- self-esteem
- patience
- forgiveness
- comfort
- beauty
- justice
- acceptance
- grounding
For centuries, the pentagram (any star inside a circle) was used as a symbol and a calling for abundance. Often it was seen around the harvest, when people gathered the fruit of their labor.
It’s harvest season now, and I am gathering all the positive feelings in my life around me, letting them ground me, letting myself feel the abundance of it all.
I’m wishing that same abundance for you, hoping you can harvest some positive words, feelings, and intentions into your life (and some delicious backyard tomatoes too!).
Here’s to clearing the air. Here’s to an abundant harvest in all of our lives.
