I created #BawdyLove because I need it. I need to be surrounded by people actively working to strip away shame and obligation and working to see ourselves and the people around us as valid and worthy as they are right now, right here.
My work brings me joy in so many ways, but my absolute favorite thing is creating retreats. My heart is happiest when it is creating intimate, decadent, life-changing safe spaces for people to have fun, grow, and fully step into themselves.
This is where I make the most impact, meeting with people face to face, holding space for them to be vulnerable and cry, laughing in the morning while we serve up tater tots (a retreat tradition).
There’s so much in this photo that I love, but my favorite part about it is how comfortable we all are with each other and ourselves. Fun trumped flattering in this moment, and every moment I’ve had with these wonderful human beings since.
I’m honored to call them friends and they’ve changed my life as much as I’ve changed theirs. <3
